Access, audit and measurement. We map the funnel, fix tracking gaps and agree definitions for a qualified lead and an opportunity.
About Topic Hatch
We are a small, measurement-first agency helping B2B companies turn marketing spend into pipeline they can actually see. We are new, we are honest about it, and we would rather earn trust with evidence than borrow someone else's story.
Our story
Topic Hatch was founded in 2026 by {{FOUNDER_NAME}}, after years of watching B2B marketing get judged on the wrong numbers. Dashboards filled with impressions and form fills, while the one question that mattered — did this create qualified pipeline? — went unanswered.
The pattern was always the same. Spend went live before measurement, channels were bought on instinct, and sales and marketing disagreed about what a good lead even was. By the time anyone noticed, the budget was gone and the post-mortem was a slide nobody wanted to read.
We built this agency to work the other way round. First instrument the funnel and agree on definitions. Then build the demand system. Then optimise, in public, against numbers the whole business can inspect.
We are new, and we are honest about it. That is why this site publishes our own launch goals instead of borrowing someone else's results, and why every engagement starts with a written plan you can keep whether or not you hire us.
What makes us different
None of these are unusual in theory. They are unusual in practice, which is exactly why we write them down.
People
The strategist who plans your program is the person who runs it. No junior handoff, no account-management layer between you and the work.
Method
We will not spend your budget on a funnel we cannot see. Tracking and definitions come first, then channels, then optimisation.
Terms
No 12-month lock-ins to pad a sales promise. 30 days' notice, in writing, whenever you want to stop.
Reporting
Live dashboards you can open whenever you like, plus a monthly review that starts with what we learned, not a wall of screenshots.
How we are structured
Our core is a compact group of senior marketers, analysts and builders. Around that core we bring in trusted specialists — designers, developers, technical SEOs, video and creative — when a specific piece of work calls for them. You always know who is doing what, and you always have one named person accountable for your account.
That model keeps overheads low and attention high. It also means we can be candid about capacity: we would rather take on fewer clients and do the work properly than spread a team so thin that nobody owns the outcome.
We work in weekly cycles with a short written update, and a longer monthly review that goes deeper. Anyone on your side can join the weekly call. There are no internal-only meetings where the real thinking happens.
Principles
These are the standards we apply to every engagement, including the ones that would be easier to skip.
If a channel will not work for you, or your budget is too small to test properly, we will tell you before you spend, not after.
We treat tracking as part of the deliverable. If we cannot prove impact, that is our problem to fix, not a caveat on a report.
Everything we build should survive without us: documented, in your accounts, with access and ownership in your name.
No dark patterns, no fake scarcity, no misleading claims. B2B buying is long and human; trust is the whole game.
What to expect
A realistic picture of the first three months — including the unglamorous foundation work that makes later results trustworthy.
Access, audit and measurement. We map the funnel, fix tracking gaps and agree definitions for a qualified lead and an opportunity.
We set the strategy, prioritise channels, brief the first campaigns and content, and build pages or automations the plan needs.
First campaigns and content ship. We watch early signal, cut waste quickly and start documenting what the data is telling us.
With real data in hand we double down on what works, publish the first honest review, and set the next quarter's bets.
Deliverables
No engagement starts without a plan and none continues without evidence. Across a quarter you can expect the following, documented and in your accounts.
Objectives, channels, budgets, owners and the metrics that define success — delivered before work begins.
Your event list, definitions and dashboard structure, agreed with sales so everyone reports the same thing.
GA4, campaign and CRM views built so you can open the numbers whenever you want, not just at month end.
What we changed, why, what we learned and what happens next. Short, specific and forward-looking.
Honesty
A lot of agency frustration comes from a short list of habits. We have simply decided not to have them.
About us
Straight answers to the things companies reasonably ask before they commit.
We are deliberately small. You work with senior practitioners from day one, and we add specialists only when a client's scope genuinely requires it. That keeps quality high and handovers rare.
We are remote-first and work with B2B teams across time zones. See our locations page for how we run remote engagements.
It is a fair question. It means you will not get a recycled case study from years ago; instead you get senior attention and a transparent scope. We ask to be judged on the clarity of our plan and the quality of the work.
Our focus is B2B: longer sales cycles, multiple stakeholders and pipeline that has to be attributable. We occasionally support B2B-adjacent ecommerce, but we are not a B2C performance shop.
Mostly companies with an in-house sales motion and a marketing budget they want to make accountable, from funded startups to established mid-market firms. If we are not the right fit, we will say so early.
Flat monthly retainers for ongoing work, plus fixed-fee projects for audits, websites and builds. Retainers are month-to-month with 30 days' notice, and scope is agreed in writing before we start.
Say hello
A short call is enough for both of us to decide. If we are not right, we will point you somewhere better.
